Final Blog

When it came to this class I was a little nervous on what to expect. Was I actually going to learn things that could help me in whatever career I choose. After this semester I can now say yes, I have learned things that will only benefit me. I don’t think there was one student that knew everything we learned this semester. This was a learning experience for everyone. I did not know most of the things we learned this semester. When it came to my digital portfolio I only knew the basics I needed. Though now everything I learned I can use in school, especially next year when I go for my masters and then I can use in any present and future job. 

            One thing I really enjoyed was the smack downs. I was able to learn different opportunities that I would have maybe never learned. The smack down app that Emily presented on Handshake was great! I think could be very helpful to me since I am graduating soon. When it came to the second smack down I knew some, but still learned a great deal. Johns smack down web tool Therapist Aid, I loved! I am always looking to learn things close to my degree. Also I really enjoyed learning how to do the voice overs and screen recording. This was something I never knew how to do before this class. It very interesting setting up the blog as well. It took a little while, but once I figured it out it was fun to play around on. 

            Overall, I loved how this class was strictly online. I liked the idea of having a week to complete all the work given. There was no surprise which is something I like in classes. Even with this online I felt like I got to know each student in this course. We were able to share and connect with one another. I would recommend this course to anybody!
